We believe in the power of tree planting

Trees are an essential part of our planet. They not only enrich our environment with their beauty and diversity, but also help combat climate change, improve air quality and support a more sustainable future.

We are proud to partner with the 'Trees for the Future' initiative to help drive meaningful change for both the planet and communities across five countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The mission

'Trees for the Future' was founded with the aim of tackling hunger and poverty while reducing environmental damage. The organisation focuses on regenerative agriculture and reforestation through its 'Forest Garden' approach, which includes the following:

Protection. Farmers plant 2,500 fast-growing trees around their land to create a living fence that protects crops and improves soil health.

Diversity. Farmers grow a variety of vegetables, fruit trees and other plants to support a more stable income.

Optimisation. By making better use of their land, farmers improve water management, enhance soil quality and create opportunities for additional farm-based businesses.

Global impact

Since its establishment, the organisation has helped plant hundreds of millions of trees and restore more than 400 km² of land, transforming both landscapes and the quality of life for countless families.

Each quarter, we submit reports on completed orders to the organisation to ensure transparency and to confirm that the correct number of trees is being funded.

In 2024, the 'Forest Garden' approach was recognised as one of the world’s leading examples of large-scale ecosystem restoration. The organisation continues to set ambitious targets – by 2030, 'Trees for the Future' aims to plant 1 billion trees. For more information, see here.
