The mattress base is designed to evenly distribute body weight and allow full relaxation. To create distinct firmness zones, two types of filling with different levels of softness are used. The areas of the mattress under the shoulders, hips, and calves – which bear the most pressure – are made softer, while the zones beneath the head, lower back, thighs, and feet are firmer. This targeted distribution helps maintain correct spinal alignment and allows the muscles to fully relax.

Gas lift mechanism

The gas lift mechanism is one of the easiest to operate, as it takes on the full weight during lifting. Its lifting power is provided by a gas strut, which consists of a cylinder filled with high-pressure nitrogen, an oil damper, and a piston with a rod. This mechanism makes furniture easier to use – whether lifting cabinet doors or raising a bed frame with slats.

'Pocket' springs

Each spring inside the furniture is individually encased in its own fabric pocket. This design allows every spring to move independently, preventing motion transfer to the person sleeping beside you. The fabric pockets also help reduce noise, preventing the springs from creaking. Pocket springs provide targeted support by responding precisely to the areas of the body under the most pressure, helping to maintain proper spinal alignment during sleep. This type of spring system also promotes excellent airflow, giving the furniture cooling properties and contributing to a fresher sleeping experience.

Memory foam filling

Memory foam responds to body weight and temperature, allowing the mattress to adapt to your sleeping position – especially in areas under greater pressure. This helps the body fully relax, reducing discomfort from awkward positions. Because of its dense structure, memory foam is less breathable, so we recommend airing the mattress regularly. It may also retain more heat, so it’s not ideal for individuals who tend to sleep hot.
